As for race mixing, I can't really comment on it because I'm very far from being mixed myself, so obviously it will be very alien to me and neither do I understand it. One could argue that the person seeks something new, but great variation can also occur in one's own people. If the gene pool isn't diverse enough, it won't be good for the offspring.

Avoiding mixing would perhaps also be a strategy of being risk averse, i.e. not wanting to take the risk of the cons found in cultural habits of other ethnicities, races. It makes it less complicated and more peaceful to just work in your own sphere. But this assumes that your group has the same mentality as you, which is in varying degrees sometimes the case and sometimes not.

I dont mind mixing with Japanese. For black, no men and only women alright. Maximum %1 black women and their mixed children from white fathers isnt a problem for me. My cousin is married to Algerian woman who looks almost half black.
