Two countries have different interests and seek different alliances, that's nothing new nor shocking.
In case of Poland and Hungary, similiar scenario already accured in 1939, when Poland allied with Great Britain and France and remained a part of the Allies until the war was over (mostly in exile/as an underground movement), and Hungary alied with Germany and Italy and remained a part of the Axis until the fall of Budapest in 1945. Still, no one proclaimed that the "Polish-Hungarian friendship" was over back then, just because Poland was pro-British and Hungary was pro-German.
Personally I don't see a reason to hate Hungarians or Hungarian nationalists just because they don't value the existEnce of an independent Ukraine as much as most of the Poles do. I understand that Hungarians don't see Russia as a threat to their independence, and instead look with more sympathy towards Putin's regime, because it is somewhat anti-woke (though not as conservative as Russian propagandists would want you to believe) and would like to improve relations with Russia as it would probably translate to cheaper prices of oil and gas. I also understand that Hungarian nationalists are probably repulsed by how poorly Ukrainians treat Magyar minority in Subcarpathia, and some would even love to annex this region back to Hungary.
However, the Polish government has different interests. Polish people generally see Russia as an imperialist power and an aggressive expander that has to be weakened as much as it is possible. This is why we want Belarus to break free from Russia and Ukraine to remain independent from Russia. It's not based on ideology or even sentiments, just a "safety first" policy.
