Polish - Hungarian friendship is over

Nowadays Polish and Hungarian government have conflicting beliefs on the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. Hungarian government is trying to be neutral while Poland is strongly anti-Russian/pro-Ukrainian. The notion of a Polish-Hungarian friendship was propagated by nationalists from each country. These days nationalists from Hungary and Poland are enemies of each other. Nationalists from Hungary are relatively often pro-Russian.

To be honest, Polish - Hungarian friendship/"brotherhood" always looked kind of fake me. It seemed like something non-neurotypicals/incels would obsess over on the internet. Very few people dared to question it out of politeness. Now it's visible to everyone that Poles and Hungarians don't have much in common.

Yeah I guess that makes more sense. I hate seeing people use internet lingo when talking about a serious topic because it just makes it impossible for me to take seriously. I guess he means people who are disconnected from the society they live in or something like that and want political arrangements most people don't agree on.

I never saw much commonalities between Poland and Hungary except Imperial history between German and Russian worlds.
People of two countries seem very different in temperament, values and behaviour.

However it's not true this friendship is recent, fake or between governments only.

It's a rare and valuable friendship that shouldn't be dissolved over Ukraine IMO.
