The normal meanings what Russia wants are formed through the war (not this denazification bs from beginning but interests of Russia and its security in region, realpolitik), just like changes in elites and army and influental out of army paramilitary groups. Our society changes. Now lots of people who were like apolitical and uninterested in any kind of such activities are associated with this war, volunteers, different groups which equip paramilitary groups. We're passing by what Ukrainians passed through in 2014 when their new nation building started. Plus all those wolves in sheep skins uncovered and left Russia generally. It was a war of the Soviet old farts in the beginning, now on the first roles there are more and more younger people. This war is one of the last nails in the coffin of the Sovetism and sentimental attitude towards Ukraine formed by mazochist Sovetoids, the last of them are dying off, luckily.

Actually, the situation we're in now, would not happen without Sovetoids, who took care of Ukrainian project for 30 years, who signed those idiotic Minsk agreements and lots of other stuff.

The bloody soviet legacy and it also exported to the rest of the world so if this war did not end well half of the world will be set in the same fire of the current Ukraino-Russian war.

I cannot say that imperialism is inherently bad but it is just a recourse from the faults of democracy which had led to communism. But nobody can be sure if such recourse will work if it did not the whoe nation will crumble. The legacy of sovietism is the legacy of a faulty democracy, which is very heavy and strong and slavic people(the whole world) should be careful to deal with it otherwise it will only aggravate it even I can help theoretically since anticommie is also a part of my ideal. To see this war end in a certain less evil way is also a step to this ideal.
