I don't discuss your person btw, I dunno about others. I'm not here to shame anyone, everyone's grown up and has his own head on shoulders. Just discussing reality, facts and tendencies.

Europe would be less civilized for sure, but there is a reason behind the acceptance of Christianity by Europeans: the nature and values of Europeans coincided with Christianity. They adopted it because they felt represented by it.

I think the point is that, since this has to do with satisfaction, it can easily go astray and lead to extreme behaviors.

Germans have a rich history of Christianity, like St.Michael I think is the German Patron Saint Germans are even called "Der Deutsche Michel" "The German Mike" because of Saint Michael. The Germans christianised many people in the East, like the Balts, the Eastern Slavs etc.... And they went on Crusades in Europe but also in the Holy Land. Germans were the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation closely allied with the Pope and Rome. I wonder why you prefer the pre-Christian Germanic tribes who were not unified into a german nation rather then the Christian identity of Germans? I noticed some self-proclaimed right wingers do so they like Vikings etc.

I don't like Vikings and also I do not consider pre-Christian Germanics particularly close to my taste. But I note that Europe prior to the intrusion of Abrahamitic religions - typical oriental intolerant one-god-beliefs - did not know religious persecution. We know a lot about classical Greece and Rome and there was nothing like that. Also, all that 30 Year's War and many religious persecutions in Germany, btw. including the holocaust, were only thinkable in the context of the existence of these Abrahamitic religions. Christianity has now been de-orientalized for 1500 years by Europeans to get it more suitable for us but it was a long way and all the sacrifices and the sufferings were completely unnecessary.

I know about the various German wars on other under the pretext of wanting to bring something good (Christianity) but this is to me more an ugly thing that I can not connect to. The church was at that time essentially a tool for ruling others.

Christianity never propagated that, unlike Islam. All faults related to Christianity in eyes of laics come from humans doing things Jesus never spoke about.
for eg. most (vast majority) of pedo priests are homosexuals, but that is public secret leftist media will never mention and has nothing to do with Christian doctrine.
