The source for this figure might be the UK Ministry of Defense.

The claim is 175,000- 200,000 casualties. Included in this estimate 40,000-60,000 killed (so it cant be most).

The title is somewhat deceptive and this appears to be a high estimate.


Secondly there are estimates coming from various individuals and organizations on all sides of the conflict (some of the outdated).

Dont rely on just one estimate.
