Yes, but not one that is from halfway across the world, from a completely different culture. Different thinking, mentality, language, history, culture, probably religion as well. Don't ever underestimate the difference it makes in someone's mindset and how very different someone from two countries over could be, even if she's a decent and good person, the differences might make the relationship impossible. The furthest I would go for a wife is France or Scandinavia to guarantee some cultural cohesion, but with reservations nonetheless.

Good experiences with the people, primarily Norwegians and Finns. More similar attitudes towards aspects of day to day life. I used to want to live there when I was younger, I no longer do, but I am still fond of the native people.
