I often hear Germans, Anglos and Scandos say that Russians aren't white, and I don't disagree with them, tbf. Whiteness is a modern concept and Russians don't fit in that category.

They would definitely tell me that I'm not local and are probably from somewhere in Europe. Most 'white Americans' have anglo-saxon, scandinavian or some other germanic ancestry and I would stand out among them.
