Probably true. There is a division on how white is white in different parts of the world. And some Euros do not want to play this game because other racial terms and ethnos are more common. I was hesitant to reply but ended up voting anyway.

There are a few who voted white I do not consider racially European.

I don't consider myself neither, that's why I didn't vote racial perspective Its more than just obvious phenotype but also personal.

I have a good amount of European genes to be considered myself brown or amerindian (I won't probably plot near an amerindian example) I also have a good amount of native to plot among Spaniards.

White among mexicans means pale skin Western /Northern European features. Even a tan Gracie med In Mexico is not white.

Due to racial similarities with the mestizo population, I guess that's the consequences of a country being politically or racially Influenced by Anglos due to its proximity.
