I don't think that some sort of islamization would happen if Turkey enters the EU since EU will require Turkey to establish and follow at least some EU guidelines if it were to join. That would have significant effects on Turkey's legal framework which would potentially introduce more transparency in the country, making it more interesting and credible for international investors to invest into the country, which would in turn lead to a higher bond rating. I think that would benefit both Turkey and others.

Well, it also depends on the country's willingness to join. That would obviously make it easier for new regulations to be applied.
But if Hungary doesn't want to follow the rules set out by the EU, why doesn't it just leave? I don't see the point of people of EU having to waste their money on a member that doesn't want to work in favor of the project and in addition is a net recipient?:

Bad for the EU, bad for Turkey. I say this as an EU and Turkish citizen.

Turkey and EU would clash too much, Turkey would basically become a second Hungary only much bigger thus bigger problems. Turkey should be governed by Ankara not Brussels.
I am 100% for economic coorporation btw and in that fact Turkey is a semi-member. Military is already there with Nato.

Because what do you want? A new Soviet Union EUSSR where everyone do what Brussels wants without any counter opinion? Hungary follows the EU rules and Brussels punish hungarians because of it. Remember for migrant crisis when Hungary stopped migrants because they had to protect the Schengen Borders as required by their laws. Brussels is against its own laws, which they had been rewriting by leftist extremists.
