Default Croatia or Transylvania: Which is more culturally "Balkan"?

Which is more culturally "Balkan", Croatia or the Transylvanian region of Romania. I know one is a country and one is just region of Romania but I think its a fun comparison.

They're not comparable, Croatia is a mix of mediteranean and balkan, whereas Transilvania of Central and Eastern Europe, which is what I'd describe it as -> Central-Eastern european.

I heard rumors that Croatia was in a Balkan war in the 90s.

Also, I wouldnt put Romania in neither balkan nor eastern europe, both categories are the other side of the coin in reality. with the difference that the balkan term today is identical with ex-yu and eastern european with the northern slavic speakers.

Which parts of Croatia ? Translyvania is probably more central European than Dalmatian Hinterland, on the other hand Zagreb and Slavonia are probably much more Central European than Transylvania.

Dalmatia is rather mediterranean, but Slavonia is central european just like Transylvania, both have significant balkanite influence. But i would choose Transylvania as more CE, because of huge hungarian minority.

I guess they lump Romania with Balkans because of the common Vlach heritage. And it's Orthodox like most of Eastern Europe (and like most of Balkans too).
    Do what you should.

The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

honestly, the hungarian parts are the most backwards, they live in the woods.
It's the ex-german cities that shine.
