Texas or Germany - Where Would You Rather Live?

Germany. I don't know Texas and its people enough to compare, but I like many aspects of the German mindset and would rather live in places that have more access to free-time activites and less car-dependant infrastructure.

Texas. As an American, It would be an "easier" fitting in, and my wife has some family down there. Nothing against Germany whatsoever...I would enjoy visiting it one day.

Germany realistically to be close to family and other places i like in Europe but i wouldn't mind an adventure in that part of the US. More so than anywhere else, except maybe California.

This dude emigrated in Texas and likes the life there a lot it seems. He couldn't stand France anymore.

Texas, because I could get work and socialise easier. But I'd prefer to visit Germany.
