What is the specifics of a christian meal? Are there any rules how it should be prepared or what is allowed to eat and what not like kosher? As far as I know Christians eat everything, so what are the specifics or why is something "a christian meal" or you mean during Lent?

It's typically vegetarian - it's what we eat during fasting so its a Christian meal for us.Originally Posted by Mortimer

What to you eat at the strictest fasting days, like when you can't have even oil with the food?
As a Brazilian I would be eating a ton of rice and beans.

We are fasting now started since 27th of Feb - we have no oil. Yes we also eat alot of rice and beans, chickpeas during fasting as well. Its a period where we completely cleanse the body.

Seafood is allowed only meat and poultry not.

Everyone is different but we dont have seafood either.

The Monks have seafood, for fasting seafood is allowed at certain days as i remember it.

I don't care about these fasts, only don't eat meat on Christmas Eve and Great Friday, for traditional reasons.
