Who looks more German, the French or the Irish?

By population the French look more German though the Irish look more like the northern Germans than the French who tend to be much shorter and to an extent darker. The southern and eastern Germans are not dramatically different from the French.

French, excluding southerners. Micks and scotch-irishmen tend to be northwestern as fuck.

French.

The French and Germans are comparatively similar insofar as certain phenotypes and pigmentation are concerned, most French people are not as similar to the bulk of Irish people as the British, most baguettes also pass better in continental Europe imo.

Overall the French would be closer to Germans ( the Alpine race plays important role in their populations , whether expressed as West Alpinid / Alpine Proper or as the intermediate Subnordid / Alpine+Nordid ) However, some northwestern French groups might “look Irish” ( ginger or dark hair + blue or light eyes + pale, often freckled skin combos).

The Irish overall look closer to Northern Germans than the French do. Both are very large-headed, tall-statured, big-bodied, pale, light-eyed people of Northern Europe predominantly belonging to various Nordic and CM phenotypes. Now if you took the entire German population (north, south, east and west), then they’d look closer to the French. This is because the French and Germans are both more “continental-looking”. The Irish are even more northwestern European - looking than the British.
