.. picture of a "real" Hogan, i. e. Paul "Crocodile Dundee" Hogan ..
Like I said , Hulk's name is Terry Bollea and his in-ring-name stems from 'The Incredible Hulk'- character ( which McMahon at that time must have thought Terry resembled ( at least in muscular build-up ) , though one maybe also shouldn't leave out of sight that maybe the early 80' s popularity of of the tv-series maybe made McMahon look for an allusion..) and according to lore the McMahons wanted Bollea to have an irish last- name , Hogan..

.. gotta say, my favourite quote by Bollea is to be found in his '99 'Hollywood Hogan'-docu..
To be found here..
.. in the vid at 5:25
" But when Hollywood heard thousands of Harley Davidson's, brother .. the brothers of the road wanting me to take the belt for Hollywood and the NWO..."
Gotta admit that I sometimes fantasised about an alternate timeline in which 'Hollywood Hogan' founds his own brands, establishments etc etc etc
^ ^ ^pretty much like Back To The Future Part 2,lol . . .
Or even...
.. though I admit that a prostitution spot in the desert wouldn't really be "wrestling-friendly", lol , since , even though made more bad-ass since the late 1990's, it' s still supposed to be family- entertainment...

How I view Hogan as such...
It is, gotta say , some kind of 'incredible Hulk ' combined with an Irish- American , lol.. To be honest . .
I' ve already given my opinion that Irish had a huge influence on America.. https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...ion-of-Ireland
