The real estate prices are about 10 times larger than in Eastern Europe (a region that has a similar level of economic development with China), it's $10,000 vs $1,000 per square meter (China vs Eastern Europe respectively).

Regular Chinese cannot afford these prices, and no foreigner is moving to China to buy them either. It's the Chinese banking system that printed money for these large apartment buildings (that 30% of the Chinese economy) which is turning to be a big naught. If you've put money into a pension fund invested into Chinese real estate shares, it's time to move your money out like yesterday.
This "Portuguese" dude is a shill for Russia who aims to attach Russia's weak and small economy to bigger players like China. It's all a distraction so people don't focus on all of Russia's many shortcomings. He acts like Russia and China are one in the same (in his dreams) when China doesn't need Russia, can drop it at any point like a bad habit, and is probably just toying with the weaker country, Russia.

My dear "Macedonian in Australia", China needs to support Russia for several reasons:

    1. They know if Russia falls to the west (aka US since all the others are just lap dogs), they are next.

    2. China needs Russia huge natural resources/commodities to keep their economy and industrial output growing. If Russia falls those will be cut off.

    3. China alone is not capable of defying US hegemony, so together with Russia they have been growing the BRICS block which will allow them to replace the us dollar as the world's reserve currency. Apart from India, Brasil, SA, lots of other countries have applied to join that group since everyone is eager to get rid of the US rule of terror.

    4. The US deep state advertises out loud that their enemy number one is China, so wtf are you talking about?

Now go back to your daily sheep shagging routine and leave these important matters to people with 3 digit IQs.

It is not about necessity in a friend, this is about facing to a given fact that Russia is a neighbor, there is a principle of how to deal with neighbors not contemplating on removing unfavorable neighbors on the cost of this principle. The west tells the world that Russia is sheet but the west do not sincerely take China as friend either. The national survival is more than doing diplomatic according to feelings and friendships, it might also mean to take on whatever sheet lies next to your porch with all the neighborhoods niceties and become friends on a feast of rats and bats and sheet whatever could be serviceable for the protocol of the scumbags`s common survival. We are not fools, BTW, Russia is not weak, by God nothing is more dangerous than a "weak" enemy or partner or whatever you are dealing with.
