Do Kurds pass better in Turkmenistan or Yemen?

Do Kurds pass better in Turkmenistan or Yemen? Would be interesting to see since Kurds have both an influence of Arab and Turkmen populations.

I would personally say it depends on the individual but overall maybe Turkmen because of more interbreeding between the Kurds and Turkmens. Although I've seen my fair share of Yemenis who could pass as a darker toned Kurd.

Turkmenistan, their complexion is more similar and there are also asiatic alpines in both countries

Definitely Turkmenistan, I think that although in Yemen are people who simply look Semitic, others have very obvious SSA traits (ethiopid)

True. Maybe unfair comparison, many Kurds in the Turkey region have Turkmen roots and Turkmens have an Iranic component too. And as you said, Yemenis - although semitic - have SSA. Some Yemenis can even pass as Ethiopian as you said.

Turkmens have mongol features and kurds look like normal middle easterners. Yemenis are very semitic arabid looking with narrow somali features too. Hard to choose, they're as equidistant to both as the earth and moon is to the sun! Maybe genetically they're closer to turkmens considering the geography...

yeah they're genetically more closer to turkmens. not all turkmenistani are heavily mongoloid influenced. for example:






i think it's 60/40. even slightly mongoloid influenced ones can pass in the west imo atleast in here.
