    According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

    @Oliver

    You use the word European like it means anything ethnically, some of the whitest people live outside the boundaries of Europe in Russia, China, Pakistan etc so European means nothing. An Italian in America will feel very white, they are whiter than many so called rednecks.

    I care little about how an Italian feels in America, I am much more interested in the European culture to which I belong.

    In Spain we would not consider any extra European as white, no matter how white his skin may be, if his face taxonomically does not fall within the usual standard for Spain or Europe. Skin tones should be between any of the usual averages for Spain or the rest of Europe.

    You must be talking about your own experience as an Italian in America.

    Kisses!
    You always say you're European and not American. I am a European too living in America. But I never mention it because I don't care about that.

    Then she must see my postings of blond or blue-eyed Andalusians with Italian-American eyes, however I have told her repeatedly that this is not America and all those blond and blue-eyed people are of my ethnicity, I am not Columbo cherry-picking Anglo-Saxons and rejecting Italian-Americans, which is how she must be seeing it.

    Lotus Flower if you're around, that no, the movie is not like that.
