I would say there are two global superpowers i.e. China, USA and regional powers like India, Japan, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Indonesia. Probably countries like Turkey or Iran could also be considered regional powers.

The only thing Russia lacks to be a world power in almost everything is in the economy, since the USA and China are far ahead,
but on issues like regional dominance and military or nuclear weapons, Russia would be in the top 3 or 4.
