Default My Speech for European Peace

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As an Armenian, I am proud to stand before you today as a brother of Europe. Our shared history, culture, and values bind us together in a deep and meaningful way. But we cannot ignore the fact that our continent has been plagued by ethnic tensions and conflict for far too long. We must work together to put an end to this cycle of violence and hatred.

The situation in Ukraine is particularly troubling. The ongoing conflict has torn families apart, destroyed communities, and left countless people struggling to survive. As Christians, we are called to be peacemakers, to work towards reconciliation and healing. We must do everything in our power to support those who are working towards a peaceful resolution to this crisis. But it is not enough to simply address the conflicts that are currently raging. We must also work to prevent future conflicts from erupting. This means confronting the underlying prejudices and biases that fuel ethnic tensions. It means promoting education and understanding, so that people from different cultures and backgrounds can learn to live together in peace.

As an Armenian, I know firsthand the importance of peace and reconciliation. My own people have a long and proud history, but we have also faced our share of hardships and persecution. But through it all, we have remained committed to our faith and to our vision of a world that is free from violence and hatred.

And on a personal note, I hope that someday soon I will be able to move out of my mom's apartment and start building a life of my own. But I know that this can only happen if we work together to create a world that is safe and stable, where people can live without fear of violence or discrimination.

So let us join hands, my brothers and sisters, and work towards a brighter future. A future where the divisions of the past are overcome, and where peace and harmony reign. May God bless us all in this important work.

    Thank you.
