The south always had and has the largest Amerindian population In all Mexico's territory Its been always populated unlike the northern regions the amerindians that lived there were mostly nomadic and didn't really had a civilization unlike the south.


But neither the north or south are the majority of the Mexican population most of the population it's concentrated In the central & central west Mexico.
