You dont need to be someone else, then you are. There is a double standard to say to be comfortable and secure in who you are ("proud to be black/brown"), but not if you are white, then you have to apologise, or be ashamed etc. or "check your privilege" if you are mixed you need to love your "ethnic" side, but hate your white side etc. so it is a double standard.

All my adult life i wanted be like the frontman of Ill Nino or early Soulfly or some shit. That funky, groovy shit.
