Greeks are not more tanned than Turks. You are probably comparing Greeks from the islands which would naturally be a lot more exposed to the sun than Turks from Istanbul or Thrace with mostly Balkan or even Greek, Albanian Caucasus backgrounds.
greek cypriots and turkish cypriots genetically similar and we have turkish cypriot population they look mostly similar to average anatolian turk but usually they have more darker types.

Which Turkish Cypriots? From before 1974 or the ones after 1974?

    for your question:

turks have significant mongoloid that's why cypriots and greeks genetically more similar but for example for dodecadk12b western turks even with mongoloid still more closer to peloponesse than cypriot to peleponesse.

caucasoid/non-mongoloid part of turks more closer to mainland greek.

I can see that it makes much more sense, since the Ottomans conquered Cypress in the late sixteen century A.D which gave ample time for Turks to absorb, assimilate and or admix with the local population.

Are you telling me that Cretan Greeks are closer to Turkish Cypriots than Greek Cypriots?
It doesn't make much sense unless Turkish Cypriots are Cretans who were moved & assimilated into the local Turkish Cypriot community OR that Greek Cypriots are not really fully Greeks which I don't think is the case.

No Turks assimilated by Greek Cypriots. The Cypriots always were half west Asians, it is that the Greek cypriots changed religion, became moslem and turkified, that's the turkish minority, assimilated Cypriots.
