Princess Amalia with designer Fabiola García Liñán RRSS

For many it will have been a surprise to run into the crown princess of the Netherlands, Amalia of Holland, in the Royal Fair. For others perhaps not, because they know the love that the 'royal' feels for Spain, and especially for Seville, the city where her parents fell in love one night of Feria more than two decades ago. The princess was able to keep her privacy and stroll and enjoy the Feria like any other young woman of her age.

The princess wore a red dress by designer Fabiola García Liñán, adorned with a black mantle embroidered with flowers in shades of red and white. The hairstyle consisted of a simple updo with a red flower and long earrings also in red.

The Sevillian designer has made this known through her social networks:

"These have been endearing moments for me. Princess Amalia, heiress to the throne of the Netherlands, trusted us again to come to the Feria dressed in flamenco, this time in red, with a wonderful embroidered shawl! It has been an honor, a pleasure and a great pleasure. She is as charming as her mother and she asked for privacy and she got it. She walked around the Fair like a young girl, happy and fun. We were delighted to receive her and to be able to attend her in our 'Los Matrimonios' booth. Thanks a million for your trust!!! ¡Viva la feria de Sevilla 2023!!!".

Visit in 2019
As we say, it is not the first time that Amalia visits the Feria de Abril. She already did so in 2019, the last fair before the pandemic, together with her parents, the King and Queen of the Netherlands and her sisters Alexia and Ariadna. Then, both Queen Máxima and her three daughters went to the royal attired in the traditional flamenco dress and primly arranged by Fabiola García Liñán. It was a special and symbolic visit for the Dutch royal family, as they were celebrating the twentieth anniversary since the then Prince of Orange, Queen Beatrix's firstborn, met the Argentine Máxima Zorreguieta. The Queen and the princesses took a horse-drawn carriage ride, had their pictures taken and visited acquaintances in one of the most famous booths at the fairgrounds.

On this occasion, Princess Amalia visited the April Fair alone, without the company of her family, a few days before she attends, as scheduled, the coronation of King Charles III of Ingaletarra, in her capacity as Crown Princess of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
