    Exactly, they are not even nearly traditional. The era immediately succeeding the USSR, are the 90s, an era which, along with unfathomable poverty, had unrestricted press freedom which revolved around degnerated themes. If they were truly traditional, there wouldn't be any of that.

    And people often tend to forget that. Mid-to late 1980s and 1990s Russia was anything as bad as the Weimar Republic. Let's not forget that.
