If I weren't familiar with either choice, I'd say Europe, but I'm only choosing the US since I know how to identify dangerous people and areas in my own cultural context

By these ratings my choice is for sure Europe as a place to visit.

I have walked around New Orleans and Tallinn. The rankings do seem weird for Europe, but coincidently 2 men in Tallinn cornered me by one standing in front of me and one dragging my hair back from behind. I don't know where they were from, but they were not European.

There are some real crazies in Estonia, though-- well, I'm biased. I used to play on some random Minecraft server with a bunch of Estonian kids who all went to the same special needs school "for the behaviorally challenged".
