USA has more 100% European individuals than Argentina by a large margin. Excluding the 100% European individuals, the Blacks are usually like 1/4-1/3 European and the Hispanics over 50%. Excluding these three groups, all other minorities combined (those with 0 European blood) are 5-10%. And just like USA has immigrants from Central America and the Caribbean, Argentina has immigrants from Paraguay and Bolivia.

Many Hispanics in US are over 50% Euro, but there are also lots of Caribbean mulattoes and griffes in US, as well as very Amerindian leaning, or just plain Amerindian people from southern Mexico and Central America. And US blacks are far less European than Argentinian mestizos (who in many cases are Euro-mestizos), and even than mestizos from many parts of Latin America, who are at least 50% Euro or above.
And Paraguay is at least like 60% Euro on average, without counting many near-white (over 80% Euro) Paraguayans (including many of them with light features like blondish hair tones and light eyes), who are many. Just saying.
The only very Amerindian leaning people Argentina is receiving are Peruvians and Bolivians, but they also receive many Chileans and Paraguayans, who in most cases are into the mestizo/Euro-mestizo/white spectrum; and many Brazilians who in most cases are white Brazilians.
And lastly, US might have more 100% European people than Argentina, but Argentina has lots of people who are 80% Euro and above, who in most cases are totally passable as full Europeans, plus full Euro Argentinians aren't few either.
I don't have it that clear those claims suggesting Argentina racial panorama being much darker/non-white than the US American racial panorama.

Another linking thread between the two countries in question is that both (legally at least) count MENAs as 'White'. And in Argentina especially, Armenians, Lebanese and Syrians are no tiny percentage of the population.

Among Hispanics in USA, the vast majority are Mexican. And Mexicans are over 50% European. I guess they're similar to Paraguayans?
Central Americans are around 10% of US Hispanics, which is only slightly higher than the percentage of South Americans. Central Americans are the most Amerindian leaning Hispanics in USA but still easily more European than Bolivians and Peruvians, and the percentage of Central Americans in USA is less than the percentage of Bolivians in Argentina.
Caribbean Hispanics are around 20-25% of the US Hispanic population but the overwhelming majority of them Cubans and Puerto Ricans. Dominicans are less than 5% of US Hispanics and over 50% European.
You're right about Black Americans, but they're around 10-15%. If you combine them with Asians, then that makes about 20-25% of Americans that don't have much European ancestry. Excluding this percent (which is still partly European in the case of Blacks), USA is significantly more European than Argentina. This 20-25% could make up the difference though.
