    Default The Sea Peoples

What do we make of them?
Everywhere across whatever sorrows of which our life is woven, some radiant joy will gaily flash past.

I think X2 mtdna has something to do with it, it was somehow always widespread geographically, even to the western hemisphere.

Most sources from the ancient world say that they came from the region of Greece. They are known as the Philistines, who settled in Palestine, from the former of which the latter gets its etymology from.

Tbh I always felt there was something a bit fishy about them.

Nevertheless to this day.I verily hold the Phoenecians and the Beachboys in great esteem.

Lightbulb "The Sea Peoples. What do we make of them?"

their activities seem to have been a reaction
    to the collapse of infrastructure

    caused by massive seismic activity
    and weather-change in that area

    triggering mass-migrations for survival.

the original conceptualisation was of civilisation-destroyers — but,
the continual refinement of the archæological record reveals

the lengthy period of earth-quakes and weather-change
caused the damage that precipitated the desperate migrations.
