In some articles, it is written that he was born on July 30th 2009.
He is currently 13 years old, which makes him one of the (if not the) bloodiest minor mass murderers in history.



As for triggers, who knows what it was. In the future, I think more details on his personal life will surface. If he is a psycho (he himself mentioned it), his brain is different. Almost all people can have darker thoughts, but he went directly in for the kill.
It's horrible others got inspired by his actions. Maybe there is bottled aggression and frustration, which some don't know how to vent. Seeing someone else doing it, gives them courage to enact, plus they enjoy the attention, because they know how shocking an attack like this is.

My knowledge about Serbia's social issues after the war is limited, I can only assume that it was not easy for the younger generations to grow up in a torn-apart country and be sanctioned economically at the same time, but these bursts of anger remind me and might be related to a generational lack of purpose, similar to what the suburban American kids' were confronting since the 90s. In Romania, I have sensed a shortage of altruism in younger generations, they are concentrated only on their narrow and secluded selfish individual perspective of perceiving life. After this massacre and next day in Mladenovac (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4_May_...rbia_shootings) a domino effect in Serbia and region begun. 41 years old man from Ruma was arrested because he threatened to kill the entire town with a rifle; 22 old man from Sremska Mitrovica was arrested after he announced that the next shooting will be there; teenager in Bihać (Bosnia) was arrested because he announced Belgrade scenario there.

Ex Yugoslav countries have lot of weapons remaining since 90s wars, both legal and illegal. Serbia especially. It's problematic because there are many mentally labile idiots with access to firearms. Add to that toxic pop culture that promotes and glorifies criminal lifestyle, similar to American gangsta rap.

In Croatia we had lot of programs to surrender weapons left from war to local Police stations in early 2000s, and still you are afraid when getting into heated exchange with some idiot on road or parking lot as he may have a gun in his BMW.

I don't support complete ban of weapons ownership (I own some), but it needs to be very severe and controled. Country like Switzerland has lot of weapons around but people are lot more cultured than Balkan idiots thus chance to get killed by some loonie is notably lower. Here way too many apes have access to it, and they don't respect safety measures when it comes to children, it's a problem.

In the next 20 years several times you will have worse events than these. Many public places will be affected. Theaters, cinemas, gathering places, especially young people, schools, faculties etc. In that period there will be many deaths. There will be also explosion. Take it easy!

Now comes a certain turning point. The police will be more restrictive when it comes to legal weapon ownership. It will cause even bigger anger in the citizenry. And all this will end in blood, in the times ahead. Normally, with a change of regime as well. It won't happen so soon.
Should i mention that is senseless to take away weapons from the people. Because there are a lot of weapons in illegal possession. Thousands and thousands of short and long pipes, ammunition and explosives, still stands buried in the wastelands of Serbia. Confiscation of legally owned weapon, the government will do the opposite effect of what it wants. It will makes that those weapons which resided underground be dug up and used. Against them!
