Then I maybe can spare you some time. There is nothing deeper to understand. But maybe that the decisions are simply ultimately dumb. And that might be hard to believe.

The explanation is that the political competition is made in front of voters with in average IQ 100 and then ultimately the elected folks will act like with IQ 100 even if they have more. Admittedly, this should be alike in other democracies. So what could explain particularly the German way? I'm afraid that it's the German manner of carrying out things with determination and thoroughness. After both the faschism and the communism became particularly strict in their German variant, now a green and "climate change" ideology will get a respective variant.
This "German manner" is advantagous if you are to carry out a meaningful decision. But if it's about carrying out a stupid decision it gets disasterous.

The actual decision to discard nuclear energy (which theoretically could be undone) was made by Merkel purely populistically in the context of the Fukushima event with the intent to short-term gain more political support (which she did). There are zero factual grounds.

I'm convinced that the current democracy in Germany is no good idea. This system has produced disasters in series the last decades and I see no way out within the current system.

Why I ponder this is that EU push pressure on countries that don't use coal energy and invent energy saving programs which are extreme expensive, but have little effect on climate and environment like biodiversity. Addenum:

I today was at the Jugendweihe (Youth consecration) of a child of mine. It's a celebration corresponding to the Christian Confirmation (and the Jewish Bar and Bat Mitzwah?) but is without any supernatural narratives. It's viewed important and a milestone in life with many emotions and reflections. In between they told the youngsters some wisdoms for their further way in life. Examples: "When you want to quit doing something, remind yourself why you once started (doing it).", "If you have fallen, remember who pushed you over and who helped you up." 75 yougsters were consecrated and called on the tribune by name. Not a single one was ethnically non-German. This is roughly 130 km east of Hamburg.





In the school in the third classes that I happen to know is one out of abt. 50 pupils non-German (Armenian in this case).

Yes, it's the opposite of wise, responsible and long-term considered decisions. I regard it a blend of activism in order to gain attention and lobbyism by industires that would much profit much from such activities.

For example the thermal insulation of houses over certain level is not reasonable, costs pretty much, generates industrial emissions and mold problems, because in cold environments water vapor condenses into structures. This leads to problems to be solved by other expensive technologies, which means more pointless industrial innovations and emissions. Every different construction needs different solutions and burocracy to watch over implementations and at the end no one knows the result in a long run.

I'm equally interested in all of my ancestry and do weight it along its proportions. However, I try to do this as I consider that a factual approach.

I'm not particularly appreciative as for my Slavic ancestry compared to other parts but equally appreciative. I view that somewhat neutral and adapt it as part of my identity.

I've thought a lot and I have none. Nobody is flawless. It doesn't mean that I do not appreaciate a number of individuals but nobody is outstanding compared to the next best twenty ones.

My most appreciated characters in history are those who do not give up even in a consciously hopeless situation, but keep on struggling for the sake of even a very small chance of success. (Of course, someone can have other appreciable characteristics as well.)
