I don't think tattoos look good on women because it looks literally dirty. A woman's body should be smooth anyway, tattoos kind of chuck that impression out the window. It looks better on a man because men's bodies aren't supposed to give the impression of softness or smoothness. Plus traditionally tattoos all around the world are used to signify a warrior, some Maori women have tattoos but it's very minimal compared to the men which still reinforces my point I think.
