Don't fool yourself, that's a false feeling, even frequent smoking weed (which is realy more safe than lots of stuff) leads to degeneracy of the person.

My former love interest from China (a Croat) was trying to talk me into taking speed (and cocaine when I get to China) for better partying experience, while claiming it is completely harmless.
Maybe God saved me from him. I suspect he is serious drug user. Maybe if I went to China to date him, I'd never return home and would become an addict just like him.
