Pious, prudish and modest Russia? How can this be? This map must be fake!

Russian federation has it high due to exact regions, especially those Siberian ones with significant part of aboriginal populace. Those regions pump up our alcoholism, drug addiction, criminal, HIV stats, for example Tuva republic (it's Tuvin homogenous) has worst Brazilian crime and homicide rates, alcohol and drug abuse.

Norway, Slovenia, Croatia and Kosovo have lowest HIV infection rates in Europe. Makes sense. It's basically unheard of here.

Vast Majority of Russian population lives in Western, European regions of Russia. HIV "Belt" starts in Ural and keep it East to Siberia. So, you have it for example like some 2 to 5 per 100k in European regions of Russia where majority lives (100 mln of 140 mln populace), but some 50 per 100k in Siberian regions with few big cities.

But Tuva has stellar HIV numbers according to your map. Lots of murders and less whoring.

I've mentioned them as region which pumps up our crime and alcohol abuse rates most of all.

I'm surprised with Georgia and Armenia as promiscuity and life out of marriage are not very common there. Very few would want a non-virgin girl in Georgia, maybe just in capital.
