I went to the convenience store and purchased a coca-cola and after drinking it I feel quite excited to solo tabletop roleplay tonight.
I started playing a great Haitian Revolution ttrpg a few months ago and I have a pretty sweet campaign going (if I may write so myself). I think I will resume it tonight.
Recently, I started solo tabletop roleplaying in total darkness. Dice rolling is a bit more involved and you need special dice at that, but there is something magical about solo ttroleplaying in the dark.
Last week I printed a huge color map of Hispaniola and stuck it to my wall. Of course, I won't be able to see the map while roleplaying tonight, but I will know it's there and it will enrich the session.

On Thursday I will pull the trigger and get a cash loan and buy a high quality industrial noise protection headset. That will hopefully immerse me even deeper into my roleplaying.
The only concern I have is not being aware of it if a slasher were to break into my home or something like that, because of my immersion.

I want to work my way up to the point where I am in a black leather full body sling suspended from my ceiling on steel chains.
I'd wear a custom made black leather mask which would deprive me of both my sense of sight and hearing. The tight full body sling would deprive me of all movement.
There would be no tabletop, pen, paper or dice involved. It will of course be solo roleplay so the person who would help me get into the sling would also leave immedately having done so.
With a good diet and proper hydration in the week prior to a session, I figure I could stay suspended in the sling for eight hours (and build endurance towards 12, 13 hours).
When I am cocky I think that I will one day be able to compellingly roleplay the Big Bang with the sling method described above.

Amélie snuck into her husband's leather and ivory office and pilfered some papers.
