Too many "unknowns" in all posted countries.
It was not the case in previous censuses.

I don't know about other countries, but in Bulgaria large Roma neighborhoods remained uncounted, the information for them is taken from administrative sources.

North Macedonia is literally binational Macedonian-Albanian state.

In North Macedonia the process of macedonization of Orthodox and albanization of Muslim minorities takes place. Even Turks are affected with albanization in NM, but less than Torbeši, Bosniaks and other Muslims. In 1981. there was over 39.000 declared Torbeši in NM and today only little more than 4000. They became mostly Albanians and maybe partly Muslim Macedonians in the meantime. By estimation in NM live up to 100.000 Torbeši or people with Torbeš origin. Many of them are albanized in the time of first and second Yugoslavia, some even in Ottoman period.
