I think the country is more than full. We don't need anymore legal immigrants either.

US immigration should not be viewed in a vacuum, that is to observe how all white countries are expected to take refugees. To know what I mean, just ask yourself what the world would say if the hype was that only Africans, Asians, Mid Easterners, etc. had to accept refugees?

But how I personally feel is that it makes me sad, we are the place they want to come to and I wish we could help them with their own countries so that no one had to be forced to flee and no one be forced to live in proximity to cultures that are diametrically opposed to their own. We just end up trying to rule over one another; why would we do that?

Everyone loves to talk about "divide and conquer", but a step comes before that even, which is to create circumstances in which division is inevitably the result due to the proximity of naturally differentiated cultures. That is to say that proximity is the ultimate instigator of division, which seems counterintuitive to a computer, but not to a human being who has ever interacted with anyone who they did not hate but did not want to intertwine themselves with.

That is not to say we stay within bubbles, but that is to say that if we did that more, it would be clear to all who should be regarded as an example for others to follow, and no one would have any complaints against another that get in the way of that. I wonder why God separated the nations..
