There is only one reason I would not go to Turkey ever: Man... as I am gettin older... I HATE SUMMERS haha and hot weather, and in Turkey is practically always hot.

Here in Croatia we have really cold winters and hot summers, but I prefer winters and autumn while Im gettin older...

When I was young I couldnt get enough of summer... but now... NO THANKS

Now I hate that hot weather, so many tourists around, traffic jams because of them, omg...

There are 2 phrases in my country connected with Turks.

Smokes like Turk, if the person is heavy smoker.

This question should be directed toward Turks themselves, and how they or some of them feel about it?

I think millions of them looks like totally European, but then again millions of them do not.

Asking Turks about being European means nothing. I heard some rural Spaniards and Greeks don't feel European because they don't live in cities and they are still Europeans. Saying "i'm European" means absolutely nothing.

A good point. Especially when music sounds Middle Eastern influenced I heard it's because Greeks were part of Ottoman Empire. My own theory is that Greek music always had Middle Eastern elements. I might be wrong. But yeah, Balkan is Europe if it has European values and democracy.

Finland is absolutely not one of the most European countries but one of the least European but still European in it's own unique non Scandinavian Nordic way Finns are European tho, despite their North Asian component which pushes them away from European genetic cluster.

I like Turkey, I was there once, relaxing by the sea. But there is still something... Turks bow down to the Germans and ignore the Russians..It's not very nice. Although there was a very long queue of Germans at passport control, but the Turk called us and let me and my child go ahead of the same Germans. Therefore, the conclusion is that all people are different...There is a French Russophobe here, but I know that many French people treat Russians well and Croats the same way.
