Default My and My Wife's Ancestry DNA Results

To celebrate her birthday, I bought a kit for her and decided to buy another one for me.

    My results

My Wife's results. She is also a Balkan Turk. Father side claim they are local to Eastern Thrace but they may have ancestors from Bulgaria before 1840's. Her mother side a little bit mixed. Have connections with Thessaloniki, Mulve (Crete I assume) and a minor Yugoslavia. The Yugoslavian part is probably Albanian because she has dozens of Albanian matches while I do not have. I will share her Gedmatch results as well. I won't post mine because I already posted many times.

sorry if the question comes out a bit insensetive, but how come you've embraced the turkish identity when you're a Bulgarian/Macedonian (I don't really separate the two). I thought Bulgarians didn't really like Turks. Were you born in Turkey? Or are you an ethnic Turk and your native language is Turkish and I'm just misinterpreting the situation?

No, this is not insensitive. We are ethnic Turks and our native language is Turkish. We were born in Turkey but my and my wife's ancestors arrived to modern Turkey from these countries I mentioned above.

Well. Not all her ancestors are from Bulgaria. Some of her ancestors are from modern Greece -one islander- , ex-Yugoslavia, and Macedonia as well. I will post her results but haven't uploaded gedmatch yet.
