If you listen to a great singer like Patsy Cline, for example- she knew what lines were meant to be emotively belted out , and which lines were emotional, but also which lines were just meant to be "sung" and sung plainly. There is no dynamics in singing every song at the top of your voice. This is why I can't listen to Cher, Celine Dion ,Adele, Whitney Houston, or any other female singer since 1965.
