There of course are and have been many other such unholy alliances, and there have been many examples in history, such as the alliance between the capitalism of Wall Street and the communism of Moscow, or the unholy alliance of Adolf Hitler and Germany's huge chemical combine, or even "the unholy alliance of Hitler, Morgenthau and Adenauer" (Society for Prevention of World War III, 1954). The Israeli-American link-up is, predictably, and magnificently, and depressingly, another unholy alliance, as Hockney noted in his book The Armageddon Conspiracy (2009). Offner and ‎Wilson (2000) have also shown that there was a belief that Wall Street had formed an unholy alliance with British financiers to spread monopoly capitalism abroad and that they were exploiting the labor and markets of the developing world as well as those of their respective homelands.
