It depends on what kind of work place, if in a common restaurant and something like that, it sounds like to happen eventually, someone is going to bully you mentally, you can only and have to accept who they are, there are friendly ones as there could be otherwise. You are growing up.

"Rent free in one's head" is misused more often than used correctly. Resentment needs to be a part of it. This is a perfect example of where it can be used correctly. The 17-year-old girl is off doing 17-year-old girl things. She is undoubtedly giving him little or no thought and yet Richy is disturbed enough by her that he is obsessing to the point of starting a thread to complain about the situation.

Some times she stares at me. The other gals like me, and they talk to me. She never talks to me . When I ordered some food during break the other day, she walked towards me like she was going to hand it to me, but then proceeded to put it on the counter. When I told her "thank you" she just replied "mhmmm".

I don't see why she is this way towards me . I do find her attractive, but she is only 17 years old and I think she is a bit young for me in that way. I don't do anything. The other girls her age treat me like a human being. I just don't see why she acts this way. Is it because I remind her of her father?
I'll try to ignore this for now but normally kids are growing more and more antisocial. Even here, where people used to be really open and talkative I've started to notice kids are becoming more and more reclusive. In 50 years this world will become planet autist.

The brother's in his forties. I would have cringed at myself if I would have cared about this when I was in my twenties!

Why would anyone in their 40s care about what a teenager thinks?

Some people think RB is a troll. No, this is actually him.

The very definition of a man-child.

I remember an incident of needing approval when I had a part-time job putting myself through college. There are no brownie points for style in this world and all of us go through growing pains when we first enter the workforce. Just because someone postpones entering the workforce until his forties, doesn't make him exempt from needing to figure out how to do it when he gets there.
