Family Sinobad arrived to Knin from more southern part of northern Dalmatia closer to sea which was under the Venetians earlier than Knin. Their deeper origin is from Ljubinje area in Herzegovina, from one medieval clan from there (it is determined over Y DNA).

Croatians of Dalmatian hinterland and part of the coast also came from BiH in Ottoman period. Older people among local Serbs still call them Bunjevci. User Duke probably has that origin.

Wrong, Gypsies never lived in Dalmatia. In that time Gypsies were considered for subhumans and cowards by regular Balkan people, it is not much different today. Sinobadi were Venetian knights of Saint Mark.



First record of Sinobadi in Dalmatia is from early 17th century, they were members of Morlach community.
Sinobadi originated from Vlahovići vlachs (https://bs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlasi_Vlahovići). They are J1-ZS9949 (https://www.yfull.com/tree/J-ZS9949/), outside of the Balkans their closest match is in Germany. Vlahovići by paternal line originated from Romance population of Herzegovina which live there before Slavs same as Ugarci (R1b-U152) from Trebinje area, they are absorbed/slavified by Serbs in the middle age.
Andrija Kačić-Miošić mentioned Mitar and Jovan Sinobad and his heroism in one of his poems.

Their tradition around 23:00 is interesting. Together with Serbs from Skopska Crna Gora and Kumanovo area in N. Macedonia they are most southern located Serbs.

Making money and emotions are two different things. The biggest haters of the west in the world are Afro-Asian Muslims whose countries were colonies of western powers or which are destroyed by USA like Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan etc. Those people to the west in millions. One my friend Serb who is born and live in Netherlands considers the Dutch degenerates. He is not sure does he despises more Dutch people or Surinamians, Indonesians, Moroccans and other trash from his environment who live of social help and criminal. He is high educated, he was among the best from elementary school to university. Serbs who are/were present in the west as immigrants or gasterbeiters in vast majority of cases earned every dollar, pound, mark, euro, franc with their work, whether they are workforce or highly qualified experts. On the other hand Afro-Asians are mostly unproductive and live from social welfare. My grandfather was gasterbeiter in Netherlands few years and in Germany 30 years. He ended up in Germany due to agreement between Yugoslavia and Germany about import of workers as 2 million other Yugoslavians. When he was gasterbeiter in Germany except Turks a lot of Italians, Spaniards and Greeks were also gasterbeiters there. He mentioned some Italians and Spaniards who worked with him. Nobody gave him anything in Germany, he earned every mark with hard work.
Btw Croatian diaspora is bigger than Serbian in relation to the number of both populations.

Before 2014 naming yourself Ukrainian in Donbass was like something saying "Srbin Crnogorac" not having political meaning behind it. In last 8 years lots of people removed this Ukrainian identity as out of West and Center UA nowadays it's a pure political definition in most of cases. Number of those who declare themselves as Ukrainians fell twice in Russia without such delcine of those people in fact. You have people who are listed as Ukrainians in last Ukrainian census but normally fight for Donbass.
