You still dont get it, they use Grece and Balkan as a region, geographical, but they dont use it all together to calculate ancestry, they have a reference for each nation.

Balkans alone have cline from greece to slovenia as long as like from spain to germany

Ok, but are Basques that dissimilar?
    I am asking because IDK.

Or let me put it this way, the picture you posted from 24&me, guy from Zadar almost 100% "balkan", would he scored 100% Balkan on this calc?
I think not, he would be Scandinavian mutt like me

What you are not getting is that 23andMe have 2 different ways from which they show their ancestry results, the admixture estimate, that is the percentages, and the country matches and they work sepparately. My calculator doesn't have your DNA, to match it against a region dataset.

I don't know but he should, yes. Also you need to remember that I'm not a rich company like 23andMe, and I don't have his DNA like they do. I'm sure they don't work with G25.

23andMe has the categories "French_&_German" and "Spanish_&_Portuguese", but as I showed you, the Portuguese are closer to people from the other category (French) than to people from the same category as it is (basque), and yet, they're grouped together.

But I am telling its about reference ponts, and how you use them, like if you took out skandinavian reference pont, they would end up like Russian mixed with Celt or whatever
