It's the same pretty much everywhere in the west, old people are terrified by changes. They love center right-left parties, who get their supply of socialist solutions from the same dealer, sugarcoated with a flavor or seriousness. Macron got +80% of his vote with the +65y old, and it keeps on increasing past 70y old, that's dictator level.

Depends. In this country, the Tory vote is far more elderly than that of most other parties, in part because their pensions are indeed vigorously protected, but also because the Tories are less likely (for good and for ill) to introduce heavy income, inheritance and property taxes than are the other parties.

Same thing here, old people vote PRD or Panameñista Party and would vote by former president Martin Torrijos that introduce higher discount to Social Security in the past for pension. Young people some vote Progressive but majority to the populist center of Realizando Metas and Ricardo Martinelli
