If "race" is used as synonym of "phenotype", I will agree partially, due doesn't exist a group of humans with full homogenized features and traits like we can find in artificial breeds of domestic animals. In humans we can find strong heterogeneity of traits even among parents, their children and among siblings.

Ethnicity would be a cultural identity among a group of people, despite social, it isn't unnatural or fake. "Culture" among a specific group of individuals is observed even in wild animals.
