No he wasn't, I feel like that reconstruction was badly made. The eye sockets/cheekbones of the reconstruction don't seem to resemble the actual skull at all. Plus isn't BBC super left wing? Seems like there was some ulterior manipulation.

The H-M82 network minimum spanning tree on PCA of the SNPs show that the Gypsy parts make multiple networks meaning there was not 1 person or 1 clan but a group of people related to the ruling groups in India who probably tried moving into Europe but got lost on their way and fell into bad times. This migration was probably driven by the Greek-Persian wars which has shaken the newly conquered Indian territory of Achaemenid kings thereby causing a group to ally with Greek which lasted until end of Greek cities and influence in Medieval times
