I would not quite call it ugly, but the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral, which I visited in 2008, looks like a museum rather than a normal cathedral:

I like cathedrals for their esthetic in general even if im agnostic but this one looks like the entrance of a Devil May Cry level i played when i was 16. Bet there is a red orb hidden on the second floor balcony.

While not pretty in any sense of the word , I personally find anything Baroque or Roccoco way worse. Im a big Gothic fan though.
