Do you recommend any spanish food?

I could recommend thousands, but I don't know which one could be adapted to your taste Morti.

I guess a good home-made style "croquetas" can be liked by everyone.

What are your favorite Spanish writers, can you name 3 favorite books, movies, songs each.

Many writers, I cannot choose just 3 speaking about novelists ...Ángel María de Lera, José María Gironella, Luis Martín Santos, Miguel de Unamuno (as novelist), Leopoldo Alas, Béquer when I was a teenager (as short story writer).

I'm sure that if I stop to think about them, more would occur to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if I even forgot one that I like more than these.

Spanish films, the ones I like are of a very special humor bordering on surrealism like "amanece que no es poco", "el milagro de P. Tinto" or quite old as " Calle Mayor" or "La Cabina".

My musical tastes are quite varied, and I don't have favorite singers or genres, I like a certain song by a certain singer and genre, because it accompanies my mood at a certain moment. But to put some that I can listen to lately (even if they are old) I could say Duncan Dhu, Héroes del Silencio and Dover.

Apart from fruit trees (quince, apple, cherry, plum, cherry, hazel, grape, walnut) I've been very busy last two summers so I can't dedicate a lot of time to it, so I only have 12 tomato plants, 16 peppers, 12 chillies and three zucchini. And some flowers, of course.

And I have about 20 asparagus plants planted two years ago ( which last about 8 years producing in the same spot), but the rabbits have eaten all but one.

And of course, a "special plant" in a secret and hidden corner of the garden.


Edit:I fixed it "calabacines" is zucchini in english, sorry.

Btw I'm very bored of this forum, too, much more than in previous times I left it for a while. It becomes very rapid. If I managed it, I'd introduce strict rules with instant bans and the first one to ban would be myself.

Since I don't know if I will continue in this forum much longer, and although by now I have practically said everything, just in case someone wants to clarify something, I have decided to open one of these threads.

Ask easy questions please, like: What time is it?

By the way I took a two year break from the forum and am now as active as ever. You never know if you might return. There are few comparable sites to TA out there.
