Thanks for your entry bro. He was Corsican, so it is debatable if that is French or Italian. I think his language was a dialect of French not Italian though?

And Corsica has always been Italian until Napoleon's mother was pregnant.

Corso dialect was related to Tuscany dialect..

Corsican is related to the Tuscan varieties from the Italian peninsula, and therefore also to the Florentine-based standard Italian.
