This isn't really a sign of degeneracy, in my opinion. It's just a continuation of post-Imperial Western European conformity.
The rise of popular culture, has given the consumer class a voice and a sense of self. They are the ones that watch Reality television (popularised and weaponised in Holland, first!), that gawp at freaks like this, that partake of PRIDE festivals and drag queens so as to show that they're "right on!".
They don't really care for or about transsexuals, they just aren't "shocked"/disturbed by them. Though the fashionable upper middle class do like to have them in the family, for status and selfie opportunities.
The slight revival of the Conservative Christian is going to be snuffed out, partly as a result of the over-reaction to this kind of thing, imo.
This is fashion and it will pass. If you want to prevent it, stop letting GAY MEN dress your women or define beauty!
Allowing homosexuals to dictate fashion, is naturally going to lead to all sorts of ... interesting behaviour, at the margins.
